We all have them!
I have truly loved my visits to Southern California:
This is the Gypsy Den in Costa Mesa, where a bunch of us got together on a Saturday afternoon last June and made a connection that will always be part of our hearts.
These are the stepping stones across the crick where Shelley and I love to go walking in summer time. Sometime perhaps you'll visit me, and I will take you there:
Window shopping in New York! Blinded by bling!
We could all make album upon album of favorite memories, places and people.
This week my Marietta memories returned:
The Lafayette Hotel, where we first spent time with our friends, Kate and Mike Mulligan of Mulligan Stew Jewelry. Remember all that wonderful tea from OTea by Kate!
This time, they came to see ME....in a snowstorm!
It was so fun to have them with us, even if it was just for a short while. They had planned to come and spend the day, but the weather became so fierce, they had to get on their way.
While they were here, Mike took time to demo his unique way to solder little things, like putting a pinback on a brooch, or a bezel on a ring:
And Kate brought a bunch of old jewelry to look through!
I can't wait til they can come back!
Lovebirds from Marietta!
