At the party it was great, nobody cared how much you ate....
Not even Rain's dogs!
Last night we celebrated at the B'sue Boutiques Creative Group at Facebook with a big virtual party. We had virtual cake and treats....here are some of the cakes members 'brought":
Kate liked this cake and so she brought it:
And Amy brought this one ....with repurposed jewels!
Party attire was diverse:
even some crazy shoes!
Pets were welcome.....Meep even showed up, looking curious!
Chelsie Boyd's kitty got played out from all the partying!
And LOTS of music, via You Tube!
Normally at our group, we are focused and serious. It's a great, sharing place to learn about new techniques and share your own. We discuss jewelry displays, business, getting started at Etsy, maintaining a shop, as well as trying new designs and changing up style to match current trends. Among us, we have neophytes as well as highly experienced jewelry makers.
The best part is that we care about and support one another. THAT is the whole foundation of what we do.
This month we are exploring our own SENTIMENTAL JOURNEYS with beautiful pieces that have personal meaning, such as this lovely design from Janet Wilson of ChickieGirlDesigns at Etsy:
You can see more of our challenge pieces at this board:
Maybe you would like to come and join our group! You can post photos of your work, with links for sale; we also welcome posts from collectors of vintage jewelry who have things to share or sell or talk about. If you make handmade components like raku beads, enamelled copper, polymer clay beads, ceramic, we would love to have to you share those things and your links for things for sale.
The group is sponsored by B'sue Boutiques and I love to promote and feature pieces members have made, using components from our place. Every month, Bead Chat Magazine sponsors a two-page spread for us to show the work done by members for the monthly challenges.
The December challenge will be WINTER WONDERLAND. I hope you will join us at the group and share a nifty new design with us, which will feature shades of white, silver, glints of gold and creme and maybe a small pop of any color you choose. You can make jewelry in any media, from anything you wish, but the photos favored for Bead Chat usually contain at least a little something from B'sue Boutiques ALL PHOTOS may be uploaded to our group album (link above) at Pinterest! I love featuring some in the Buzz, the weekly newsletter from B'sue Boutiques
To subscribe to the Buzz, go to our homepage at http://www.bsueboutiques.com and scroll to the bottom, put your email in the box and click to confirm! Weekly deals and recaps of everything that's happened in the last week, including things that are new or restocked are linked on the newsletter, too.
Thanks to all of our members for making the Creative Group the cool place it is!
Winners of last night's beerings giveaway were Jenny Hanson and NJ Hill:
Mary Anne Flesch won the mini-muse package, and Kathy Noda Bell won the 25.00 gift certificate giveaway.
And now....back to the serious work of pursuing our art and MAKING JEWELRY!
